I managed to get 720x480 working in mp4 format with mpeg4 codec. Video Bit Rate: 12000. Video Frame Rate: 30FPS. Audio Codec: aac. Audio Bit Rate: 320. Sample Rate: 48000. Audio Channel: 2. There was only a little bit of picture cut from the side and top but it filled most of the screen.

2006 Audi A6 - MMI - location of core parts. Just a little question. Can anyone tell me where the main control module is located. I have lost all comms & use of the MMI system, although the screen turns on, but halts at the Audi Multimedia Interface screen, then shuts down. Coding the battery properly is important, however not 100% necessary if you are willing to wait a bit. As the Audi's computer "learns" the new power output coming from your battery it should adapt and your systems will run properly. Unknown how long this would take. Or you can try to code it yourself. Once MMI is back up turn off ignition and remove the key for 5 mins. Ignition in 1st / accessory position. Via the MMI go to Menu > Car > Systems > Vehicle Settings > Central Locking Menu > Tone when Locking = tick the box to activate Tone when Locking and exit the menu. Ignition off. Exit car and lock to test.
