if you've only recently hit lvl80 then you'll want to either buy it from the TP or craft it for you first set, depending on what stats you want, e.g. berserkers can be bought on the TP but Vipers has to be crafted. You only need exotic gear, the fastest way is to farm gold and buy them. You can also craft them.

Guild Wars 2: Boosted Necro to lvl 80. I just boosted my necromancy to level 80. I’m wondering about what builds people use that are still relevant. Currently I have the full “rabid winged” set I got with the boost. I’m new to the game so any help is appreciated. Check out metabattle for competitive, open world and meta builds.
The Ascended Gear is the pinnacle of gear in GW2 for most players. Hitting level 80 in Guild Wars 2 is when you really need to start gearing up. If you want to get deep in WvW PvP or the Raiding endgame, the gear you bring along is important. So you need to know where to look for it, and start working towards that goal. Lvling a character from 55 till 80 doesn't take a long time. Since the boost will give a Celestial gear set, I suggest create a new character that will benefit from Celestial set and boost it to level 80.
