Returning player here, I played at release for maybe a year, and just started again about a week or so ago. I had a level 80 character from way back, and a couple of days ago, I decided to use one of my level 80 boosts to level up an alt. Going pretty good so far, as far as playing the character goes, but I have a weird question regarding the gear.

Remember, heart vendors in the base games level 80 zones like malchors leap sell level 80 exotic sets for karma. Can get full berserkers gear from the temple where the dungeon is in the next zone. Exotic armor with berserker stats will be your best bet.
Guild Wars 2 has one of the more unique leveling systems in all of MMORPGS. The games horizontal progression really lends itself well to more exploration and
Leveling to 80 doesn't take that long and the leveling experience is pretty decent, since you and do whatever you enjoy and the game gives you exp. The WvW lvl 60 restriction is only for f2p accounts, if you want to access this sooner buy the game. You'll get the 80 boost for free with purchase. Some people don't like the level process. You can use it on a alt if you want to level your main the regular way. If you'd like a mount, you can use the 80 boost on a class you want as a alt then do the first story line of PoF to get a mount which you can then use on your main while leveling it. 7. That being said, you can also acquire celestial gear in other ways, if you feel that it’s a waste to boost an already-level 80. Kriegotter22. • 2 yr. ago. This may be another example to support all the people that have posted through the years that giving a level 80 boost to someone that has not yet gotten to 80 by actually leveling up has a strong tendency to disenchant them with the game, whereas those that take their time to explore on the way up appreciate things far more. Swap to sword for more melee friendly fights. Gear is mostly Valkyrie with a few Assassin pieces to get your crit to 30% (with food). This is enough to give you 100% crit with Fury and Retaliation up (with Radiance tree it gives 50% crit, 10% damage boost and 250 ferocity. It also passively stacks might up to about 8.) No, level 80 boosts are not tradeable or purchaseable from the gem store. It's a one time gift for current and future expansion owners. It's meant as an incentive to buy the game and as a way to get into the action faster for those who want to.

Notes []. Contains the old character's gear before starting the trial and consuming the Level-80 Boost. Filling the inventory will keep this item. It will only disappear when all the old gear is added to the inventory.

I recently purchased the first two expansions, which gave me a level 80 booster. Although I initially decided not to use it, I just found out that it also provides level 80 gear that would be beneficial for my character. According to the GW2 efficiency website, the booster is valuable, worth 343 gold. Since it cannot be sold, what would be the
im looking at this lvl 80 ticket for 2k gems which is only worth $35. For one character boost on wow i can level up boost only one toon for the price of two on gw2. So is this just guild wars devs being generous compared to wow devs or is this a statement saying that even the devs think that the 1-80 grind is just pointless lmao. In fact, pre level 80 content is for the most part sigificantly different from post level 80 content. Just the addition of elite specs alone can completely change the way you play a class. Coming from another game, you might think getting to 80 is a big plus, but even just running normally I can get to 80 in a day. I am relatively new to the game, and did get a level 80 boost ticket. With that ticket, I got a brand new level 80 character wearing celestial exotic armor. The guild I joined explained that this gear allowed me the opportunity to play my profession however I wanted, while working towards replacing armor and weapons to find a niche. WqY6o.
