The Hoka Anacapa Low GTX is straight up the most comfortable hiking shoe we have worn in a long time. While many thru-hikers and long-distance hikers have worn Hoka trail running shoes and been pleased, this shoe feels like one of the best low-top trail-capable shoes designed for hiking that Hoka has come out with in a long time.

Absorptive and protective, the Arahi 5 is best for long or recovery-day runs, as the smooth cushioned ride keeps runners comfortable. Kaleb: "Although this shoe was updated to be more responsive, I did not feel like I got a lot of return from the midsole foam. There is a slight bounce but not much.
The Ora 1 weighs in at 5 ounces, while the Ora 2 clocks in at 5.40 ounces. The additional .4 ounces won’t make all that much difference in the feel of the shoe, but you will most likely notice the additional padding. Overall, the Ora 2 is definitely a step in the right direction.
My orthopedic doctor recommended a shoe with a "rocker" style soul. I ordered several similar styles from different manufacturers. This model fit extremely well and is very comfortable. Most likely I will shop for other Hoka One shoes. I'm a solid size 10 narrow. This 11 was a good fit. I purchased a larger size based on others reviews.
